Make sure that handshaking and flow control are both set to none, and
that kermit is using /dev/cua(x) instead of /dev/ttyS(x) (ie: /dev/cua1
instead of /dev/ttS1). I had the exact same problem when I first tried
to transfer with C-kermit...
